come closer. the paintings are built to be seen up close. tap one to see it whole.
Flowers are usually something we look at. This show asks what happens when we feel them instead.
These paintings aren’t botanical portraits. They’re built from gesture, color, texture, and memory. Each piece aims to evoke a feeling rather than depict a flower, and to leave room for you to bring your own.

Christina Galagarza paints from her studio in Lambertville, New Jersey.
Her work runs on color, heavy texture, and the energy of a single moment. These layered, heart-centered paintings draw on river walks, local nature, community, and the love stories people bring her.
For six years, Christina has painted flowers almost exclusively. Through Eternal Flower Paintings, she turns couples’ wedding bouquets into lasting oil portraits, work that asks her to stay faithful to someone else’s flowers.
When a season of profound personal change arrived in 2023, her studio became a place to heal. The work grew playful and experimental. Flowers became her way through life’s ups and downs, turning grief into hope and joy.
FEELING FLOWERS is where she sets the likeness down and follows the feeling instead.
